I have had several emails from TRC Followers about the box from America, which I wrote about last week. Did we open it ? Can people see what is inside? What type of quilts are they?

Well there is good news. We did open the box and all the items, including eight quilts and quilt tops, will be online by Thursday (5th July) in the TRC Collection. In addition we have just decided to make a mini-exhibition at the TRC Gallery in honour of Sherry Cook and her quilts. The exhibition will include about twenty quilts and tops and will run from the 20th August until the 31st August and the TRC will be open on Sunday, 26th August from 12.00 to 17.00, to allow as many people as possible to see the quilts. I should also add that Sherry Cook is putting another box in the post next week, and may herself be coming to Leiden shortly! Exciting days ahead.
